BIOMORPH
Type of game : BIOMORPH is a 2D metroidvania game where the player takes on the form of the monsters they defeat using their biomorph ability.
Plot : Fight terrifying monsters and steal their shape and powers! Solve ingenious puzzles and navigate a stunning 2D world. Meet quirky characters, rebuild a city, and uncover the secrets of a sprawling, fallen civilization… and of your own mysterious origins.
I was also involved in the Level Design.

Tool: The project had to be developed using Unity.

Game Type: 2D game.

Characters: A main character capable of taking on multiple forms through the power of biomorphing. Over 20 different forms could be used throughout the world.

Mechanics Introduction: Each zone featured its own unique monsters, ingredients, NPCs, secrets, and bosses.

Designed and created over 20 unique monsters, each offering varied and evolving gameplay. Took into account that the player could use them once biomorphed.

Designed all ingredients, weapons, and mementos available in the game.

Created and balanced boss fights, adapted to each zone’s mechanics and atmosphere.

Co-developed narrative quests with the writer to ensure consistency with both the game world and gameplay. Integrated quests directly into Unity.

Collaborated with the level designer to ensure that ingredients and monsters were engaging to discover and use in each zone.

Developed the town reconstruction system, closely tied to the NPCs encountered throughout the game.

Coordinated with multiple departments (art, animation, programming, audio, music, etc.) to clearly communicate the design vision for each area.
